Julie has been an entrepreneur at heart all her life; her parents owned a supermarket in Mexico where she grew up. She joined the US Army at age 23. She retired after serving 22 years and became a Department of Defense contractor for six more years. Julie has been part of a large Direct Sales company for 19 years, and an Affiliate with a multilevel company for five. With her vast organizational skills and her passion for entrepreneurship, in December 2015 Julie organized the first large Hispanic Mixer where 20 vendors participated with live entertainment.

In May 05, 2016 Julie and Yolanda co-founded Latinos En Acción, LLC. Its mission statement was to teach, mentor, motivate, and inspire our Latin Entrepreneurs and Business owners to learn to network, to leverage their business partners and sphere of influence to be successful, and to mentor youth.

Because of this, Las Vegas Kidpreneurs Business Fair idea was born where bringing the entrepreneurship experience for our children ages 6-17 years old was realized in August 2017 at our first fair. Children were taught to create their own business plan, and we instilled leadership, courage, perseverance, and responsibility into young hearts and minds. We believe we can change young lives by making an impact on future leaders.
